Wednesday Love

I can't believe that it has been 10 days since I posted a blog.  Things have been a little crazy.  First of all - I ended up with pneumonia.  I had to take steroids, antibiotics, and cough medicine on top of a shot of Rocephin and steroids with a breathing treatment.  Then I was able to help out a friend on Friday.  She was getting ready for a big event at her store and it turned out great.  And Taft had a birthday party to go to on Sunday.  The time has really flown!
So - here are my favorites for the week.  I have back to school on the brain since school starts here tomorrow.  And I am having a first day of school photo link up that starts on Friday.  So be sure to take a lot of photos and come over to share your creativity and little cuties.

Love this post on 30 before 30 at Storybook Love Affair. I am thinking that I might need to do a 40 before 40. I think that if I start it this year, I might be finished in five years.

At Bloom Designs, she is talking about patriotic cake designs and even has some cute free printables to make these great cake and one other.

Blonde, Undercover Blonde is hosting a NICU Link Up for all the moms out there that have had babies in Intensive Care.  It looks like a great group of girls to help answer questions and give support.

And that is all I have for today.  We are busy trying to get the house and pool area ready for Taft's 4th Birthday Party on June 3.  There is so much to do and we are lucky to have family coming to town also.  It should be the best Dino Party that we have ever had.  ;0

Wednesday Love

My pinterest love is a little slim today.  I just haven't pinned that much this week, but I have made lots of new blog/pinterest friends and I love looking at their pins.  I think that you can tell a little about their personalities by their pins.

• The Hey Girl trending has finally gotten to me.  I like to look at them and some are pretty funny.  And of course Ryan is not bad to look at, but this one sucked me in.  Too funny

• I have a real thing for mason jars and succlents.  Love having them together.

• I am also loving the fact that Taft was good at school yesterday.  We have been on a streak of terrible behavior.  So - he got LOTS of praise today for being good.  I so hope that works.

• I am loving that my new medicine seems to be working.  I can live without not knowing what is causing it if I am not in pain on a daily basis.

• I am loving the work that is being done in my planting/flower beds in the front of the house.  At the moment none of is done by me but I am instructing what needs to be done.  I can't wait to have jasmine growing up the side of the house.  I would love to get moons flowers also.  And Taft has requested that we have some pink and yellow flowers.

• I am really loving getting to know my "swap" partners a little better.  I signed up for a Coffee Mug Swap (pretty funny since I don't drink coffee; but I use them for hot chocolate and soup all the time at work) and also for a Spring Favorite Things swap.  I love getting to shop for them.

Love this idea.  How great would it be for a child that plays sports?  Save all the tickets from their games or all the movies that they have ever seen.

Taft in Underoos.  I didn't even know that they still made them. David Beckham has noting on him.  ;0

Smoothies for lunch with my friend Yvette!  We love Tropical Smoothie.  They know us by name and even our voice when we call in to order.  I know.  It's kinda sad. ;0

Rainbow Drink.  Completely perfect for St. Patrick's Day.  I think that Taft would love to look it and maybe drink a little.  It says to use Ginger Ale but I think that we might just try Sprite.
