31 Days | Holiday Baking

I don't know about you, but there are things that I only make during the holidays.  I'm not sure why since I love them, but I guess it is because they remind me of the holidays.
Growing up, my mother made a few things every Christmas.  Fudge was a pretty big deal.  Fudge with and without nuts, and also peanut butter fudge.  It is the best fudge I have ever had.  And it is extremely easy.  So I am going to share the recipe with you.  Don't worry, it's not a big family secret.  In fact, it is on the jar of Jet Puffed Marshmallow Fluff.  You can find it here.  Instead of using semi sweet chocolate chips, you can use peanut butter chips, butterscotch chips, white chocolate chips, and so on.  Easy and lots of variety.

My mother in law makes pizzelles.  I have never made them.  I have watched her, but I don't have a pizzelle press.  They are light and crispy and covered in powdered sugar.  The grandchildren love them.  And I need to learn to make them to keep the tradition for Taft.
