It's Beginning To Feel A Lot Like Christmas

Wow!  December 1st is really here.  Last night we decided to do a few things to get in the Christmas spirit.  While Daddy and Taft had dinner, Mommy went to get her nails done and picked a bright holiday red.
Then we went home to put up the family room tree.  Taft was very excited and keep screaming "Christmas Tree, Christmas Tree, Mommy!".  Then he helped Mommy "fluff" the tree.  I planned on putting on the decorations while he slept but he found a few ornaments and LOVED putting them on the tree.  So - we are going to finish it up tonight after dinner.   I do think that his favorite part was being able to climb on the ladder.
Mommy and Daddy noticed something special when we drove up to the house.  There was a package at the front door.  I was pretty sure that I knew what it was.  Aunt Teresa had let us know that Taft would be getting his Christmas present from her, Chad, Izzy, and Evan, early this year and that we would want to go ahead and open it.  We decided to wait until after Taft had his bath to open it because I knew that once he got his hands on it he would not want to leave it for awhile.
We were right!  Taft was so excited and kept saying "Aunt T, Aunt T, thank you Aunt T".  It really is the cutest thing I have seen in a long time.  The Little People Christmas Village.  It has three buildings, Santa, Mrs. Claus, and elf, a reindeer, a sleigh, a tree, and presents.  The tree even plays music when you push down on the star.  (Taft's favorite shape of the moment by the way.)  So  - Taft had to call Aunt Teresa and tell her thank you.  She was working on her tree too!

 Taft loving his new village!
