This weeks Grey's Anatomy was billed as Christina Yang's last episode.  Was anyone a little confused that so little time was spent saying goodbye? 

I loved the episode and all the changes that seem to be in the works.  I love that Amelia came.  I would love to see her as a regular on the show.

It is no secret that I love Sarah Jio.  I have read all her books and she can't write new ones for me fast enough.  I am thrilled to find out that I am approved to read an advanced copy of her new book, Goodnight June that will be published on May 27th.

{three}

Taft and I are going to a program at the Ravine State Gardens tomorrow.  He is in love with a very sweet Ranger there.  I have blogged about her before.  This program is a Creature Feature: Frog's.  We are going to learn how to tell the difference in frogs and toads.  Very valuable information.  If you live near us, come join us.

{four}

Earth Day was this week!  Taft's kindergarten class was learning all kinds of things.  He told me that cars are not good for the earth and that we should start to ride bikes to school and work.  Not gonna happen.  ;)  In a perfect world maybe. 

But there is an Earth Day celebration on Sunday at Princess Place.  I am pretty sure that we are going to try to get there after church.  We always enjoy it there.

We have babies!  Baby blackberries that is!  Even though we live in the city, we have a few wooded lots in our neighborhood that are full of blackberry bushes.  We seem to eat them as fast as we pick them.

It's Good Friday!  I stumbled across this great Easter printable.  It is available in more colors and the best thing is that it is FREE!  So head over to It Works For Bobbi and get one.

Taft has decided that the Easter Bunny is going to bring him a balloon animal kit.  He is sure that he can make the animals as well as a clown.  So - if the Easter Bunny stops at Michael's and picks up the kit, I will need to keep this site in mind for extra instructions. 

I have a feeling that I will be the one learning to make balloon animals.  Of course, you can never have too many things to add to a resume.

On my reading list for this week is The Girl Who Chased the Moon by Sarah Addison Allen.  I have read The Peach Keeper and Lost Lake which are also authored by her.  I loved both of those and can't wait to get into this one.

{four}

I was able to be a Small Group Leader for ROC (Respect. Obey. Celebrate.) at our church this semester.  That is out Wednesday night Kid's Ministry.  I had the pleasure of having the 3rd grade girls.  This was out last week of small groups.  We do have an Easter an Egg Hunt tomorrow, but I am going to miss time with these girls. 

We had some come and go, but I had my original four that were there on the first night.  One of them had a brainstorm and realized our fingers made a star.

It's Easter weekend!  What could be better than that?  Just try to remember that Easter is not all about the bunnies and chocolate.

She has a great tutorial on how she made it, and another.  I totally plan on using it soon to document part of our Spring Break fun.

I am thrilled that Call The Midwife is back on for another season.  I have always liked British comedy on public television.  But this show is just wonderful.  It is very well written and beautiful.  I really get a kick out of seeing how medicine has changed since the late 1950's.

 I am loving these darling little bunny earrings.  Too cute for Easter.

I am looking forward to reading this book on my Kindle.  Check it out.  If you think you would enjoy it, leave a comment and I will be happy to loan it to you when I finish.

This is so good!  Out pastor's wife made and it and we had it for breakfast on Sunday.  Serioulsy - you must make one.
