Pecan Pie

Photo is before they went in the oven.  I never got one of the finished pie.  

Pecan pie is just so good!  I had to make it for our Thanksgiving this year.  It is also about the easiest pie in the world to make.

1 cup of Karo Light Corn Syrup
3 eggs
1 cup of sugar
2 Tablespoons of melted butter
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups of pecan halves
1 9 inch, unbaked, frozen deep dish pie crust

Mix the first 5 ingredients well.  Then add the pecans and mix again.  Pour mixture into the pie crust and bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes.  
I do recommend putting it on a baking sheet to cook in case there is some spillage.  Your oven will thank you.
