Wednesday Love

Happy Wednesday!  The weeks are starting to fly by.  I have not been in a regular routine for the past two weeks.  We have been getting ready for Taft's 4th Birthday Party.  I am completely loving the invitations that we got from Green Apple Paperie.  This is the sample from the Etsy Shop.  They are really adorable and I can't wait to put together everything the package that I got.

Here are my loves from Pinterest:
Wooden spoon garden stakes.
This site has some great ideas for Scavenger Hunts with kids.  It even has hunts for those that aren't old enough to read yet.

We are having a birthday party this weekend and it is already hot by the pool.  So hot that I have been looking for a better way to cook the hot dogs.  We are cooking pork for the adults and it will be done in the house, so turning on the grill just for hot dogs is a little crazy.  Not to mention that a hot grill and children makes make nervous.  So - we are going to do this and I will let you know how it goes.

Things that I am loving in blog land this week:
I am loving this ring from The Life of Jennifer Dawn.  She has a great Etsy Shop and just the cutest, girly things.  The price is awesome too.  This ring is just $8.

I am also in love with this camera strap cover.  Seriously - it is a cover for your strap that came with your camera.  No need to worry about buying a cute strap and it not holding up.  Just get a cover.  This comes in a few colors and you can check them out at LoneStar Lovlies and then head over to Jennifer's blog at Finding My Way in Texas and let her know that you love them.

There is also a very fun sounding swap in July!  It's Christmas in July and you can go here to sign up and for more details.  I mean, who would not like to get a present?

Have a GREAT week!

  2. Love the scavenger hunt post. I could do with some garden stakes, I have planted so many seeds and they've just started growing, no idea what they are!
