Throwback Thursday Stories | Week Two

Today's TBT Story features my sister, Kristi, myself, and my two nephew's, Travis and Gaven. 

This was taken in the summer of 2004 at my Uncle Tony's house.  He had a BBQ and swimming party for the family.  I think that it may have been the last time that all of us were together.  (3 of us first cousins live out of state)

The boys look so little.  And even with it being a black and white photo, I can tell that Kristi and I had tans.  And I had a lot less hair.

Throwback Thursday Stories | Week One

This week, something great is happening over at The Mom Creative.  Jessica Turner has had (what I believe to be) her best idea yet!  Throwback Thursday stories!

So many of us post instagram photos on Thursday using the hashtag's #throwbackthursday and #tbt.  The photos range from funny to sweet to sentimental.  But - what is the story behind those picture?  A picture is not really worth a hundred words you know.

So - here is my photo for the week.  

This little gem is from when I was in the first grade.  I thought that the bunny outfits were perfect for Easter week.  

Our class did the play Peter Rabbit.  I played the part of Flopsey and my best friend, Kendra Morris, was Mopsey.  A match made in heaven.  

I remember my mother sewing my costume.  I remember having that cure little Spring dress to go over the bunny.  And I remember that this was in the classroom before the play.  My dad took the picture.  The girl in the background was the sister of a classmate.  She is Stephanie Dollahite and her little brother, Chad, was in my class.  And those two adorable twin boys are Christopher and Michael Hewett.  

I also remember that the play was a hit and the acting superb.  Seriously.
