Enchanted Ravines

The Enchanted Ravines at Ravine Gardens State Park is something that we have done for the past three year.  We meet up with Aunt Casey and Stran and make an afternoon out of it. This year we went to the Pumpkin Patch on the way to take a few photos and then off we went.
Taft was so excited to see Ranger Lauren!  She was at out local State Park, Gamble Rogers, and was then transferred.  Two months ago she was transferred to the Ravines.  We could not be happier.
Taft ran to her as soon as he spotted her.  And she picked him up to hug and spin him around.  If every State Park had a Lauren, so many kids would benefit.  She is amazing.  She was very busy but we were so happy to get to spend a little time with her.

Taft loved this thing! It reminded him of the one at the beginning of Escape to Planet Earth.

The Bardin Booger. A local legend in the Palatka area.
Taft and Stran getting their faces painted.
Fun with a ping pong ball.
This is a little duck race game. You pick a duck and then run to the other end of the table.
Taft was very happy to win.
Taft has loved this for years. Stran was pretty good at it this year too!
This wheel was a favorite of Taft's. Mostly because he won those lovely purple vampire teeth.

The last photo of the day. Even though it rained and we had to wait to ride the hayride, the boys had a great time and that is what really matters.
