Forth of July! We have gone to Flagler Beach for the past 2 years. This year it rained. Thankfully on Sunday the City of Palm Coast had fireworks of their own at the Town Center. We were able to drive and park with the back of the car facing the fireworks. 
Then we walked around to see everything going on and let Taft play with his balloons on his stroller. We were back to the car by the time the fireworks started and Taft had a little picnic in the car as he watched. He loved them!
As soon as they were over we were buckled in and back on the road. Much easier than the beach. I think this will be an option to consider next year also.
