Lizards - Sept 26th

We are obsessed with lizards. For a few weeks, Taft has looked for lizards everywhere that he goes. He even looks for lizards in the house and at school. Imaginary lizards, real lizards. I looked everywhere for lizards for him. Gran sent him a big, green lizard with teeth. He loves it. Yvette, that I work with, found a package of 8 small plastic lizards and got them for him. She gave them to him one day as we were getting off work. He was so excited that he literally was shaking all over. Now, if we can keep Shelby from eating them all will be great. I did get him a few extra bags since Shelby seems to think that are her new snacks. Every morning before we leave the house he picks them all up and puts them in a box so she can't reach them while he is at school.
We plan to surprise him soon with a visit to The Alligator Farm. He just thinks that they are big lizards. I think that he will love it. We took him to PetsMart and was in heaven just looking at the lizards. And he was excited when the worker let him pet the rats while she cleaned their cage.
