Project Life Progress

Today I am linking up to Project Life Tuesday on The Mom Creative.  I had great hopes of being caught up each week and everything looking great.  I got my Cobalt Kit but the Style A Page Protectors were sold out.  I am still waiting on those to come in.  Then I will post those weeks and hopefully stay caught up.  I am up to date on photos and saving things to add once I get the page protectors.
So here is what I am working on to keep on track and organized:

1)  I am planning my pages.  I am using this template that was on Project Life Creative Team Member, Deb Duty's, blog. 

This is making things a little easier.  I am writing in where each photo will go, the journaling, and writing in where I want tags or special embellishments.
I am also keeping these in order in a regular 3-ring binder with the notes I take for the journaling and any inserts directly behind each layout.
 2)  I am keeping all the finished journaling cards and tidbits in a shoe box.  As an idea comes to me I write out the card and just stick it in there.
3)  I have a folder on my computer labeled "Project Life".  I then have a folder for each week and I add those photos.

I am still on the fence about whether or not I want a black binder or a nice bright color.  I kinda like the idea of having a different color for each year.  At the moment I am leaning toward this one from We R Memory Keepers.

I can't wait to get things in a permanent place and see the project come together.
