Halloween at the Ravine Gardens

Aunt Casey told me about a Halloween activity in her home town of Palatka, Florida.  It is about a 30 mile drive for us so Taft and I decided to go on Saturday.  It was held at the Ravine Gardens State Park.  It was $3 for me to get in and FREE for Taft.  Everything else was included and well worth the price.

Taft wore his UPS man costume and was able to get in a few pictures with Casey's little boy, Stran.  Isn't he the cutest little owl?
They had lots of arts and crafts which are a favorite of Taft's  You also got candy at most stops.

Taft got his face painted for the first time.  He picked a cute little pumpkin and sat completely still while she was working on him.
Sometimes he is afraid of new things but he dove right in.  He loved the bouncy house and all the carnival games.  This one was a duck race.  You put on flippers and run.  He won.  ;0
We also took a nice long trolly ride around the edge of the ravine.  They had people dressed up as non-scary characters like Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland.
We got a drink before leaving and sat down for a little rest.  Taft wanted to sit beside Aunt Casey for a little while.  He really loved his trip and I can't wait to do it again next year.
